Armstrong Building was proud to return to Mary Immaculate Primary to upgrade their playground with a safer, more engaging design tailored to modern learning through play.
Scope of Works & Design Intent
- Retention and integration of two existing play equipment sets.
- Installation of all-new playground features designed to inspire exploration, movement, and creativity.
- Full compliance with AS4685.1 – the latest Australian Playground Safety Standard.
Customisation & Cost-Conscious Delivery
- Bespoke play elements introduced to elevate the site’s uniqueness and functionality.
- Synthetic grass laid across the entire play area.
- Shock pads installed beneath surface to provide safety without the cost burden of traditional Softfall systems.
Outcome The revitalised playground now offers varied sensory and physical experiences within a safe, standards-compliant space—bringing the school community a fresh place for imagination, movement, and outdoor learning.
