Having established a relationship with Mary Immaculate Primary, we were happy to be asked to freshen up their tired playground with something more modern, exciting and safer for the kids. There were two existing play equipment sets to remain, otherwise all other items were new. The brief was to provide a playground that complied with the new Playground Standard AS4685.1, on a tight budget whilst still allowing the children several different features to learn and explore on. The project highlighted several customised features, and the whole area was covered in synthetic grass with shock pads underneath instead of Softfall to reduce overall costs.
