Project Name: Mancel College – Building 2
Location: Fig Tree Pocket, QLD
Building 2 represents a pivotal addition to the Master Plan for Mancel College, operated by Language Disorder Australia—an organisation dedicated to inclusive, targeted education for students with language disorders.
Purpose-Built for Potential This three-storey facility expands the school’s capacity with modern, tailored environments that support academic and emotional growth.
Scope of Works
- New building constructed adjacent to existing campus.
- Commercial kitchen with integrated student learning facilities.
- Manual arts workshop.
- Student and teacher respite zones.
- Three flexible classrooms and supporting amenities.
- Rooftop 20m four-lane swimming pool, delivered under a Design and Construct scope.
A Complex Site, Expertly Managed Situated on a constrained site with minimal street frontage, the build demanded meticulous planning to safeguard both community and environment. High volumes of parent and student traffic, proximity to bushland, and tight neighbour boundaries required staged logistics, proactive communication, and precision safety management—particularly across linking sections of the active school.
Built with Intent The result is more than a structure—it’s a secure, inspiring environment that supports independence, calm, and capability for every student it serves.
