Project Name: Hillbrook Anglican School – Year 7 Building

Location: Enoggera

To support the transition of Year 7 into high school, Armstrong Building delivered a new purpose-built learning precinct at Hillbrook Anglican School. The project involved the demolition of an existing structure and construction of a large, integrated facility with modern amenities and thoughtful landscaping.

Scope of Works

  • Construction of the Year 7 Precinct, including:
    • General and specialist classrooms.
    • Staff and student bathroom facilities.
    • Landscaped outdoor areas with water feature.
  • Connection to adjacent buildings to ensure seamless student movement and visual continuity.

Site Management & Coordination

  • Careful traffic management planning was critical, with shared access zones serving both construction vehicles and school drop-off.
  • Detailed staging to minimize disruption and safeguard student safety throughout the build.

Late-stage Compliance Support

  • Guided the client through the design and implementation of a fire booster pump system to satisfy QFRS certification.
  • Despite its late inclusion, the system was delivered without affecting program milestones.

Outcome The completed Year 7 Building now stands as a tailored learning environment that enhances school capacity and cohesion—delivered on time, on budget, and in full compliance.
